I'd first like to thank my wonderful followers who stuck with me since day one. I'm Julianna, an (almost) seventeen year old girl who's going through the struggles of high school. I have high hopes of being a journalist. Some of the simple things I enjoy in my life goes as follows: my mom, friends, energy drinks, my "night" life, blogging, and achieving success in my studies.

and I’ve been surfing the web for pointless things, such as studs for my DIY projects, evil eye jewelry from various Etsy shops, the Dr. Martens that I’m obsessed with and getting next week. My mind’s too excited to be put to sleep.  I just want my room to be super cold and someone to cuddle with, but who am I kidding? Forever alone.

I cannot explain how much I can’t wait for it to be the 16th of March, aka the last day of school & first night of spring break! That is the only thing that is getting me through these gruesome weeks of school. I’m so ready to be a Senior, get accepted into a Uni. and move on with life, I don’t know who the hell made it acceptable to mount projects, unnecessary test, assignments, and rigorous classes on us poor Juniors…we already have SATs/ACTs, and a million other things to worry about— thank God spring break and my 17th birthday is around the corner, a little bright light at the end of the tunnel. Oh and I’ve been finding some awesome pieces to add to my closet such as this new black t-shirt with an cheetah print skull (like this, but short sleeved) on the front and it’s cut-out as a skull in the back (sorry if I didn’t explain that well)

What’s Currently Out

  • February 6th - 10th

I’ve had the most stressful days this week. I never want to revisit this week of school again, I failed two important tests in my Chemistry & Alg. 2 classes, missed some assignments, running on three or four hours of sleep. Next week, I’m going to be back on top of my game, no room to slack now.

Overdue rant

What does a blog really consist of? When people say “this blog is a reflection of my personality” do you really believe them? Because if you think about it, it’s the internet, you can portray yourself to be whomever the fuck you want. See, I got tired of these “Ohmygod, new nail polish”, “Ohmygod, just came back from Yankee Candle, in luvvvv” post from “personal” blogs. I’m really not interested in what you wore, what you recently brought, aka everything you want people to see you can afford, I clicked f-o-l-l-o-w to get wrapped up in your thought process, what you’re feeling, why you’d rather have breakfast at night instead of the morning. I want to be able to differentiate you from everyone else on Tumblr. “Hey, look it’s Rebecca, the girl that’s a gymnast and is in love with comedy, on my dashboard again”. Wouldn’t you want too be known for something unique instead of what you spend money buying every weekend? I mean it’s cool that you can fly to Paris whenever you please and spend however amounts on money without a doubt, but  I’d much rather be interested in the odd meet you had with a cute Parisian boy who held his camera up to your face calling you the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen. I don’t know about guys, but I’m done trying to keep up with the ~personal blog~ trends (what theme style’s in, what photography camera you should use, ‘insert any other pathetic random shit here’). I mean, if new nail polish and bitching is all your life consists of, disregard this post and do what you do. I’m just saying, maybe I follow the wrong people… If this didn’t make sense, it’s only because I’m so frustrated and it is not worded probably, whatever…hope you guys get the point.
